  A few years ago my dad, who was ninety needed my help to find an assisted living community. Of course, I had no idea how to go about the search. Fortunately, for me I was given Melissa Clifford’s phone number, That was the best day of my life because she guided me and my dad through the process of finding him his new place to live. She is very knowledgeable, she does all the research.  But once a client she is there for continued help when needed. Melissa Clifford, through her company iPlace Seniors, was a fantastic manager and source for our efforts to find a suitable assisted living facility for our parents.  Our Dad is 100, and Mom is 96, and they had several specific needs that had to be met.   Melissa was able to check all of the boxes on our parents' list of requirements, and was able to do so despite time constraints, weather issues, and juggling multiple schedules during the Holidays.

Melissa thoroughly investigated the available assisted living facilities in the Denver metro area that met our criteria, and then set up visits at 10 different facilities for both my siblings and my parents to visit.  Melissa was instrumental in finding the perfect assisted living facility for my parents, and they are both ecstatic about their new living situation.  Melissa was also instrumental in recommending moving companies for the transition from independent to assisted living for our parents.  She also helped us explore the option of bringing food into our parents while they were in independent living as a possible bridge to the move to assisted living.

I can absolutely and unequivocally endorse Melissa as the foremost expert in placing seniors in the Denver metro area, and recommend her to everyone seeking assistance with placing aging parents in appropriate facilities.  Our family is very grateful that Melissa was able to find the perfect living situation for our parents.

Dear Melissa,

I would just like to say “thank you” for all your help and assistance when I was looking for an assisted living option for my Aunt.  You took the time to ask questions to get to know us and what we were looking for before we ever set foot in any facility.  And while I had no idea where to start looking, with your knowledge and understanding of the assisted living market, you were able to narrow down choices to help us based on what we needed for location, types of care, lifestyles, etc.  

Because my Aunt and her daughter both live out of the area, I appreciate the time you took to take me to various locations and, then, after I narrowed down the choices, to take them to see them too when they were able to arrange travel to the Denver area.  You were so patient when you met my Aunt, answering her questions and just being beyond pleasant.

You made what was a stressful, difficult time so much easier for all of us.  And even though my Aunt eventually made the decision to stay in her home for as long as possible, I know that the decision was easier for her based on what she learned from you about assisted living options.  And, because of the time you spent with all of us, if and when the time comes for her to go into an assisted living arrangement, we will be armed with the information we need to make the decision.  And we will definitely contact you to again ask for your help.

I’m a younger senior and have been a caretaker of family and friends for several years now. I was recently in need of help with friends; husband and wife, he having Alzheimer’s and she with terminal cancer. I explain this because Melissa went out of her way not to push and ask too many questions initially. I introduced Melissa as a friend and she is more like a saint. My friends wanted to move out of state and Melissa quickly organized the outline of necessary things to do to... help make a smooth transition; e.g., contact with their Social worker, family members, Senior services in the other state, housing, etc. Melissa is a calm, kind spirit who will care for you and your family, pretty much like she does her own. As a business woman as well, I trust Melissa and I know she’ll be there when I need her. You’ll appreciate this woman!
